Best dentist I ever seen and I’ve been to a lot! Reasonable on prices, quoted me 5000$ for ALOT of work that another dentist quoted me 26000$ on! They made me feel like I was welcomed and not to be embarrassed! Even willing to work with you on payments, and will ask you what YOU want and what results your looking for, which shows you he’s interested in your thoughts and concerns! Made my life much happier! Live Oak Dental is one of the best practices I have been to. I had an excruciating pain in my mouth and had been waiting everywhere to be seen. I was in so much pain I had to skip my finals while I searched for a dentist and finally found Live Oak. I did not have an appointment but they helped me very quickly. I filled out my paperwork and was seen 5 minutes after. Dr. Duffy numbed my mouth to get rid of the pain. He took X Rays, prescribed me antibiotics and made accommodations with my dentist back in Maryland for my surgery. Although I did not have dental insurance, the cost was very reasonable and much cheaper then all the other dentists I had been to. It was going to take a few days for the antibiotics to kick in and get rid of the pain so I went back the next day to get numbed again. The pain was gone and he even did the second numbing for FREE!! I have been afraid of the dentist my whole life but this was the best experience I have ever had. A week later he called to check in and see how I was doing. Dr. Duffy really cares about his patients and I highly recommend Live Oak Dentist to anyone and everyone. I cant thank you enough Live Oak!!!!   -Serena C.

 

Great crew. They ask that you be on time or early. The payoff, you never have a wait. I hate & fear medical procedures but this crew makes it much much lower stress and more comfortable.

We love Dr. Duffy and his staff. They take very good care of my teeth, but don’t try to fix things that don’t need to be fixed. He is a very knowledgeable dentist and works hard to make sure that I am calm during any procedures. He recently put in a crown and it is the prettiest one in my mouth by far. I needed a dentist for my family. Someone recommended Live Oak Dental. Called them, got a fast appointment for my 11 year old. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Duffy himself were professional, friendly, informative and helpful. My son had to get his first filling. Live Oak Dental is by far the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. Everything from the building, furniture, artwork, natural lighting, (and most importantly) the contagiously positive staff, all come together perfectly to create this dental spa-like atmosphere.
Dr. Duffy and his staff are so positive, kind and patient that it naturally relaxes you for any dental work that needs to be done. They don’t make you feel insecure about your smile or try to sell you on expensive dental work. Dr. Duffy and his staff are EXTREMELY professional and courteous every time I am in their office. I recently was in having to get a filling replaced and I was nervous about having it done and the sweet Dental Hygenist actually held my hand while they were having to numb the area (yes, I’m a huge baby!) . Dr. Duffy and his entire staff are simply amazing. My bridge broke I called them in a panic. They worked me right in and Dr Duffy stayed late in order to make me a temporary bridge. Went for my first visit today and I have to say that Dr. Duffy and his staff are incredibly thorough and give high attention to detail during the exam. Doctor Duffy and his team have been wonderful. As soon as I came to them with a mouth full of cavities & some problems from a previous Dentist he was quick to fix and correct the problem! I was comfortable while getting the work done & had full and complete trust in him. Just had my 1st appt at Live Oak Dental & I must say that I have never had such a thorough, professional and enjoyable dental exam ever! I’m a retired transplant from Colorado & making new medical/dental connections has been very nerve-racking. However, I can say that the staff here sure made this connection for me my “go to” dentist. The hygenist, Becky, did a great job on xrays & cleaning. Dr Duffy is young, energetic & thorough, explaining everything in language I can understand. Even Lisa can explain necessary costs in such away that is not painful. I HIGHLY recommend this group of friendly, competent professionals.
