What to Expect

What to expect on your visits.

  • Visit 1

    The dentist will examine your tooth, take pictures and review your medical and dental history. The dentist will access your discolored tooth from the tongue side and insert a preofessional grade peroxide gel. The area will be closed with a temporary filling material

  • Visit 2

    2 days later, you will return to the office for evaluation of the discolored tooth. If needed, the dentist will remove the temporary filling material, remove the peroxide gel and insert a new dose of bleaching gel to the tooth. This process may need to be repeated up to 4 times depending on the severity of tooth discoloration

Dr. Dan Duffy, DMD

Dr. Dan Duffy is a native of Point Pleasant, NJ. After completing undergraduate studies at East Carolina University (Greenville, NC), he entered ECU's School of Dental Medicine, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2016.
